Christmas Cards and Other Work
Christmas cards are coming! I’ve been working on new cards to add to my existing line of Christmas Cards, and I’m really excited about them. You can order them online through my site, as well as prints and giclees of any of my work.
I also finished off the commission for a local dancer. Once it’s been presented I’ll post pictures.
I’ve been working on commissioned children’s portraits the past few months and feel that they’re really coming along.
There was recently an event for the Lied Children’s Discovery Museum here in town, the Fanstasy Gala at Caesars Palace, and it was really great! There was an auction of art, and I donated two of my own paintings. One of the most amazing amounts made was for a painting by Jennifer Main, about $7500! I was really honored to be a part of the event, and it was wonderful to raise so much money for the museum. I loved to see all the dancers and entertainment, and I hope to participate again next year, and raise even more!
I’ve been focusing a lot on my work in Josettes Bistro and Bernard’s Bistro. Josettes is getting ready for a big move in December, so I’ve been really trying to support my friend as she improves and grows her business. I’ve been looking at showcasing one of my favorite pieces in Bernard’s Bistro, An Evening in Paris. It’s 30×40 mueum wrapped giclee that hangs in the restaurant, and really worth going out to see, not only for my art but for the wonderful food. Both restaurants have wonderful french food and lots of entertainment!
I’ve been looking at a few other places to display my work, I’ll post more when I know for sure!
I’ve been starting to use my twitter account more, and I think I’m starting to get the hang of it. Is there anyone interesting I should be following? If you have a twitter account let me know and I’ll follow you
Any tips you have or anything to make my twittering easier would be great.
There’s a lot of good things in the works, be sure to subscribe to my mailing list to stay up to date on everything I’m doing!
