Terry Ritter wins coveted Airport Mural contract!McCarran International Airport in Las Vegas, Nevada recently awarded Terry Ritter the contract to produce and install a 50 foot mural in the International Baggage Claim Terminal which broke ground earlier this year. The new terminal is a major expansion to McCarran due to open in January 2011. Las Vegas' airport is the 4th largest airport in the country by volume and one of the most popular international destinations in the world. Terry's presentation included a 3-dimensional concept which will give the newly arrived visitors their first exciting exposure to the unique, colorful world of Las Vegas Strip entertainment. Her painting "Folies in Flight" will be recreated to immortalize the showgirls and dancers that made Las Vegas famous. When visitors fulfill their dream of traveling to Las Vegas the art of Terry Ritter will be the one of the first things they see when they deplane! |
